Brai3n is both a clinic and a research consortium. All non-invasive neuromodulation techniques are routinely provided in the Gent Branch in Belgium. The other branches in Belgium, USA, Korea and New Zealand are predominantly research centers where new indications, new techniques and animal research is performed.

The Gent clinic provides treatments for every indication except personality, schizophrenia disorders and physical rehabilitation in wheelchair bound patients, due to practical limitations.

Please be aware that non-invasive neuromodulation is usually not reimbursed via your medical or private insurance.

Another important fact is that even though you are treated with the most modern and advanced techniques, the Brai3n center will ask you to sign an informed consent so that they can retrospectively analyse the outcomes of your treatments and correctly improve the success of their treatment protocols. For the same reason the Brai3n center will also intentionally perform placebo treatments. The reason for this is that before you embark on a long series of repetitive treatment you want to know whether it really works. This will save you a lot of time and money and make the Brai3n center perform more efficiently.
